Nevertheless, something had actually moved me to sign up for a Reiki seminar afterwards, where I observed what was happening - again, full of distrust .... Reiki, the first degree: I didn't feel much, but I was deeply moved

When I was in a horrendous transitional situation months later, literally lying alone in my old VW bus in a gigantic storm and placing my hands on my solar plexus, Reiki suddenly started to "work," the energy was palpable

I could feel Reiki

Tears ran down my face and I knew: ok, "I will make it out of this storm too"!

The next day, the sun was shining over the sea again

Surprisingly: I quickly realized that I didn't just want to practice Reiki for myself, but also to pass it on - traditionally according to Mikao Usui

When Markus and I moved to Mallorca years later, I was a Reiki master and teacher, my intention back then: to offer a treatment every now and then

That turned into 25 years of Reiki on Mallorca, Reiki and massage, our samaki practice in Can Picafort, our feel-good shop with gemstone jewelry and a thousand beautiful things, and above all my great dedication to my work with the Universal Life Energy - Reiki

A key factor in this was also meeting Phyllis Lei Furumoto, Grandmaster of the traditional Reiki lineage and, for me, the most significant Reiki teacher after Mikao Usui

In our very first year on Mallorca, she led a seminar at the Lluc monastery, an incredible opportunity for me that I seized immediately - one of the most beautiful events I have encountered on my Reiki path

Phyllis Furumoto was a teacher who encouraged me to be who I am and to practice Reiki as I feel it - traditionally anchored and at the same time open to transformation; that is exactly what strengthened me! Professionally and personally

I trust my intuition and that is exactly how I pass on Reiki: with classic training, extensive further education, and even more experience, with respect and awareness
