Absolutely, this is a thoroughly subjective advertising copy. I even value that. But it's also a very personal statement on my part. An essential part of my life story, which I only gradually became aware of in this form as angel callers became increasingly popular in Spain in recent years and also became the most popular item in our online shop (www.samakioriginals.com), and so many people from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the USA, South America, and elsewhere were and continue to be inspired by them...

Angel callers are beautiful silver jewelry pendants for necklaces, bracelets, and keychains. They come in many different sizes, and always have a ball with a fine blade inside as the exit. This is what makes an angel caller a real angel caller.

With a little research, you'll easily discover that in our latitudes, people already rang loudly in the Middle Ages to ask higher powers, i.e., the angels, for protection and help. In other cultures, people used and still use bells and bowls to remind themselves: there is more than we can initially perceive with the naked eye. Thus, the small angel caller, as a piece of jewelry, carries great significance for centuries. And anyone who claims to have completely reinvented it today... well...

Delicate patterns and enchanting craftsmanship make the Angel Caller a beautiful piece of jewelry. Years ago, it was still known as "symbolic jewelry," but today it's also referred to as "statement jewelry." The basic product has been around for many, many years as a simple, smooth sphere. A classic, so to speak. And I bought one of those over 20 years ago, when I was truly not feeling well.

Back then, I hadn't heard of Reiki, my current passion and a profession. Esotericism as such was foreign to me. I didn't (and don't) belong to any religion. I was much more concerned with simply surviving.

Not that I was seriously physically ill. My physical constitution held up quite well despite early migraine attacks. Thankfully. But I was a child of sadness. At least relieved to have my high school diploma and school years behind me, I vacillated unhealthily between life's possibilities, finding no stability anywhere, until my heart felt so sick that I was afraid to get up and go my own way again. Tired of life before life had really begun? Afraid of my own courage? A little bit of everything.

And despite all the attempts at help around me, deep in my clouded inner self, I knew that I would have to – theatrically speaking – pull myself out of the swamp by my own hair. Easier said than done. It always is. The weight of bad decisions, addictions, and fear of failure can drag you down like tons of weight. And just by chance, at that very moment, a small, silver ball on a simple black leather band, which tinkles gently when it moves, captivates me...

I bought my first angel caller at a small silver stall at a Whitsun market in central Hesse. Between the cotton candy stand and the fish stall. And I still wear it today. It's a bit dented and "worn," just like I am, shaken by life at 45, so to speak. And I recognize that today with a smile, deep in my heart. But it sounds more beautiful than ever before! A bright, steady little bell! Back then, when I bought the angel caller, I swore to myself that I would crawl out of this, my swamp. Hand on my heart.

And I asked for help... not anyone specifically, more into the universe. At the time, I didn't even know that I was holding a real "angel caller" in my hands...

And now, looking back on my life's journey, I appreciate—no, I know!—that the angels did a decent job. They nudged and prodded me toward aspects of myself that I was able to recognize and gratefully embrace. They kept me moving. They saved me more than once by quickly reminding me of important information. All that sort of thing.

And I can reveal, I've rung this angel caller, this bell, quite often! To remind myself of my own promise. Therefore, I can deeply understand today's desire for angel callers, and completely understand this particular fashion trend.

We all need reminders like, "Hey, you can do it!", "Be patient, it'll be okay!", "Yes, trust yourself!", "Hold on to your dream." And so on.... A form of positive self-conditioning, as I now know as a therapist (samaki-mallorca.com). And the Angel Caller came in handy for me at the time!

We all advertise one thing or another all the time. For a hotel where we spent a wonderful holiday in Mallorca. For an energizing massage that did us good. For a decent wine. For a sports club we can identify with. For a cozy restaurant where the food is fresh and the service is friendly. For an online shop run with incredible dedication and lots of love. For a car brand, the car we drive. It all depends on what we integrate into our lives. What we believe in. For something we like ourselves. What we have experienced as positive. And what we now, in turn, fill with our own energy. What we love. And yes, I am advertising for Engelrufer. Mine passed its quality test with flying colors.
