We hear a lot of complaints this year, don't we? Everything seems so tough, so difficult...
This "strange year," this "unusual time," is the only one we actually have.
And instead of "dealing with it," learning, and growing from it, we'd much rather "everything" become easier again – somehow. The world would be safer. Humanity would be more conscious. Our interactions would be more loving...
And if we can wait a long time for it?
What do we make of the here and now?
Perhaps: to practice suchness.
Don't judge everything, don't want to know everything better. Don't constantly fight against what is.
But rather: look at what is there.
Accept what we're feeling right now. Pay attention to what's good for us.
Take small steps.
Stretch your back.
Breathe deeper.
Really taste the coffee.
Playing with the dog.
Listen to fear – without giving it the command.
Watching the butterflies.
Suchness is not giving up. It is surrendering. An "okay—if that's the way it is... what now?"
A loving look at what we can influence:
Our attitude. Our reaction. Our care – including for ourselves.
.... release energy that we find worth living ....
Light and love
