have a healthy and happy new year
My great-grandmother gave us the finger back then, and she was dead serious!, when we suggested that she should change her thinking from butter to "cholesterol-free", and even a little schnapps was sacred to her, but on the other hand she never smoked... She bought me strawberries at the market as a child, with love, but not because of the vitamins, but because she herself had to do without such luxuries during the war years... and because strawberries are delicious. Now you can argue that she could have lived to 100, with her genes AND a fat-free diet, but she simply wouldn't have wanted that, so she passed away peacefully, literally after enjoying a hearty soup, at the age of 97, and she always valued the pleasure of eating it! Perhaps it was her strong will that carried her through the years rather than what others advised her to do. My great-grandmother was an incredibly strong and authentic woman.... whether you decide to eat raw food or schnitzel today should be your own decision, even if you look at it as an image, which is what it tends to be, but what we are seeing again and again these days is that hardly anyone dares to say who they are, not just what they eat or what they think..... hopefully that will pass soon, right? will it get better? In the long run it would make the world so much poorer....
